Sea Eagle 10.6sr Review: Boat Overview
When inflated, the Sea Eagle 10.6sr’s dimensions are 126″ x 65″. This broad beam (width, for those not familiar with boat-speak) allows for excellent stability — making the Sea Eagle 10.6 sr a great choice for fishermen, yacht owners in need of a tender, and general boating enthusiasts.
The 10.6sr’s stability doesn’t come at the cost of weight, either. With the inflatable floor, the Sea Eagle’s 10’6″ Sport Runabout weighs only 90 pounds. When equipped with solid plastic floorboards, the boat’s weight jumps up to 123 pounds — still not bad.
When it comes to load capacity, the 10.6sr can take care of business. The boat is capable of carrying up to five people with a max weight capacity of 1199 pounds, and it has an 86″ x 33″ interior that provides a comfortable trip for all passengers.
The tubes of the Sea Eagle 10.6sr inflate to a diameter of about 17″, and the boat features up to five air chambers (port, starboard, bow, keel, and drop stitch floor). The inflatable keel is awesome, as it slices through the water and allows for precision control.
The Sea Eagle 10.6sr inflatable boat is also extremely durable. It’s made of a super tough, reinforced 1100 Decitex. The seams are double overlapped and bonded with 98% high-frequency welding and a high strength glue finish.
